An Unhurried Pace & Natural Bounty
Discover Useppa Island
Situated among the renowned barrier islands of southwest Florida, at the northern end Pine Island Sound, Useppa Island is a small, independent community where relaxation and recreation are the order of the day. Just a short boat ride from the Florida mainland, the lush tropical island boasts a unique 10,000-year recorded history and a way of life reminiscent of the times in which our parents grew up.
Today’s Useppa Island is a blissful escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. This intimate community of 110 “Old Florida” homes is situated in the center of a remarkable panorama of sparkling waters, brilliant sunrises and glowing sunsets. The meandering Pink Path spans the length of the Island, and is perfect for quiet sun-dappled strolls through verdant gardens.
For children, Useppa Island is an exciting wonderland of discovery…a throw-back to another place in time that, today, allows children the freedom and safety to fish, ride bikes, swim at the pool or beach, visit the playground at water’s edge, hunt bugs, lizards, turtles….to run around; to act their age and to enjoy nature, unspoiled and prevalent, throughout the Island.
